Right now, I feel like that uninspired lady who needs to wind herself up in that anti-depressant commercial. So as you can imagine, I’m super-psyched that I’ll have two whole days to recharge my battery and do whatever I want at the health spa (apart from eat bad food and drink heavily, I guess!).
While I’m totally looking forward to the spa itself, I’m also looking forward to the drive (unless the snow decides to toy with my happiness). My friend Rachel and I have similar taste in music, but she’s much more proactive about checking out new artists and downloading cool, interesting, and awesome tunes onto her iPod. I can’t wait to hear what she’s got in store for the ride. I’m always looking for a new favorite song that I can belt out dramatically while cruising down the freeway!
What are some of your favorite driving tunes? Two of mine are “Life is a Highway” by Tom Cochrane and “Dreams” by The Cranberries. Maybe I can download some of your suggestions before I head out today!

I don’t have any huge favorites – but I am going to make a CD up of all the songs I like that Jared also enjoyed over the years. They will bring me great memories.

LOL…I hadn’t considered naming it – but that would be perfect! At our wedding, Joe and I danced to Jock Jams first accidentally! “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!!!!!” We are such hockey geeks.
