About

About the Blog: Let’s face it; it’s hard to find joy when there’s barely enough time to breathe these days. Although daily responsibilities and overwhelming pressures make it tough to get your happy groove on, it’s possible and it’s necessary. I’ll try to provide you with a daily “crusher” either on my blog or on my Facebook page that will hopefully remind you to chase away your evil Dr. Crankenstein while I’m busy getting rid of mine. (FYI, the link will provide more insight as to why I began this anti-crankiness journey in the first place!)

About Me: After having my first kid, I chose to leave my big city magazine job and become a freelance writer. Transitioning to a mostly stay-at-home mom has been a source of crankiness at times (when I let my mind drift to thoughts about what I’m missing career-wise), but I’m determined to find a way to become satisfied both personally and professionally. Will it happen? No clue. Please join me on my quest for it all!

Hi Michelle! I’m so happy to “meet” you through Melissa. I just checked out your blog; huge congrats on getting married this month! Your life reminds me of my own when it was just me, my husband, and our puppy baby Quincy (who will be 7 in July). I look forward to reading more of your posts! πŸ™‚
