Llama love.

When I recently went to the Green Meadows Petting Farm with my family, I was ridiculously excited to be face-to-face with llamas. When I saw them, all I could think about was a catchy tune that I’d heard on “Sesame Street” (like over 30 years ago!) that played while I watched a little girl take her pet llama to the dentist  (random, I know!).

Like alpacas (which I ADORE), I consider llamas to be magical creatures that I just want to hug! Well, not only did I get to wrap my arms around two llamas, Muffin and Biscuit, but I also got to give Baby Biscuit a little goodbye kiss. Yes, I know this will gross out some of you, but you animal lovers out there will understand my affection and appreciation for these cuties!

Here’s photographic evidence of my crankiness crusher. Hope it brings a goofy llama-like smile to your face!

Great story and not disgusting at all! There is something to be said for the therapeutic value of animals and pets. Animals are very innocent and once a bond is established, it’s unconditional.

I like llamas too. When I read your mention of alpacas, I wondered if you remembered the alpaca wall hanging my parents had in their hall when we were younger? Remembering the fun and friendship we shared is always a crankiness crusher. Have a great day!

I love llamas… cute post that place looks fun! We live in the the suburbs of Dallas but the founding family of our area still have working farms. One has several llamas and cows and we get to see them everyday as we drive past. I am always taking pic’s of them. The family has just sold the farm to housing developers and everyone is so sad because it’s the landmark in our area. And no one wants to see the llamas go, it has been making the news here! They are being pleaded with to keep the section of farm with the llamas, hopefully I will get to enjoy them a bit longer!
